Waking Nights Specialist Support Worker – Brudenell Road, Leeds

Role: Waking Nights Specialist Support Worker
Salary: £15.12 per hour
Location: Brudenell Road, Leeds
Hours: 12 hour and 15 minute shifts

Closing date: 3 June 2025

About the role

Our service in Leeds is a new supported living service for 4 clients who are deaf with complex needs and/or mental health conditions.

If you have the passion to make a difference, have the experience outlined below, and are interested in working for SignHealth, we would be delighted to hear from you.

We are looking for people with:

  • Experience working with varying degrees of deafness, including those who are culturally deaf
  • British Sign Language (BSL) skills or a willingness to learn BSL (full BSL training will be provided)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience working with people with Learning Disabilities and/or Mental Health challenges where diagnosis is complex and may present challenging behaviour
  • Experience working in supported living services or residential care services
  • Experience or willingness to undertake Prevention Management of Violence and Aggression (PMVA) training

You will maintain tenants' safety, privacy, and dignity in accordance with CQC regulations and organisation policies.
