Job summary

Spark of Genius is hiring a Waking Night Support Worker in Hartburn to care for children and young people in a residential setting. You will assist with daily routines, meals, activities, and record-keeping, with full training provided.

We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds and offer a supportive environment. No previous care experience is required, and DBS checks are part of the safeguarding process.

Responsibilities

• Support young people with daily routines; getting them ready for school, preparing meals and planning activities
• Create a warm, homely environment by helping with light housekeeping
• Build positive relationships and provide emotional support
• Plan and take part in activities such as outdoor trips and creative sessions
• Keep essential records to ensure the best possible care
• Use electronic care recording systems on a daily basis to document, monitor, and update children and young people’s records accurately. Experience with Clearcare is an advantage, but not essential, as full training will be provided.
