Job summary

Active Care Group seeks a dedicated Waking Night Support Worker to assist a sociable gentleman in his own home in Andover. You will monitor wellbeing, respond to requests, and provide person-centred care through the night while respecting his independence and choices.

Shifts are 10pm–7am, two nights a week with the option of extra shifts. Benefits include a DBS check, induction training, holiday pay, Nest pension, and recognition via the Active Awards programme.

Qualifications

• Caring, compassionate and attentive with a focus on person-centred support.
• Willingness to work night shifts and perform light domestic tasks.
• Ability to respect independence and communicate effectively with a client with locked-in syndrome.

Responsibilities

• Monitor wellbeing during night hours and respond promptly to requests.
• Provide attentive, person-centred care while respecting dignity and choices.
• Perform light domestic duties to keep the home clean and welcoming.
