Job summary

Active Care Group is seeking a caring Night Support Worker to help a gentleman with MSA in his home in Winkleigh. You will work 8 PM–8 AM on a rolling rota, two nights per week, on a zero-hours contract. Full training provided, with ongoing support from a Care Manager to ensure confidence in your role.

This role requires a driver due to the rural location. You will join a small, friendly team that values kindness, warmth and humour while delivering dedicated night-time care.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care during night hours.
• Assist with medication as directed.
• Support mobility and overall well-being during breaks in the night.

Someone who brings kindness, warmth and a sense of humour, and who can help him feel comfortable, supported and valued in his own home.As a Night Support Worker, you’ll provide dedicated one-to-one support throughout the night, helping with:Personal careMedicationMobility and physical supportYou’ll work as part of a consistent, trusted care team, supporting the same person each week and building a positive relationship over time.And you won’t be expected to know everything from day one. We provide full training, shadow shifts and ongoing support from our Care Manager, so you’ll feel confident and supported in your role.Shifts Available:Waking Night shifts run from 8 PM to 8 AM2 shifts a weekPlease note due to a rural location, we are seeking drivers for this position.In this role, you’ll support one individual with complex needs, working regular weekly shifts to build a consistent, trusted care team.
