Are you a dedicated Support Worker with your NVQ Level 3 in Health and social care?
Role Type: Waking nights available (every other weekend saturday & sunday)
Please note: We do have other packages nearby if you would like to boost your weekly working hours.
Our client is a vibrant soul who sustained an acquired brain injury (ABI) following a choking incident. Though non-verbal, his personality beams through every smile, every tear, and every shared moment. He lives independently in his own home and is supported by a close-knit, loving family who are actively involved in his care journey.
He’s a wheelchair user, has a PEG, and requires full personal care with double-handed support. Communication is beautifully unique — he understands both Welsh and English and responds with expressive smiles or tears. If you’re someone who can “read between the lines” and connect beyond words, you’ll thrive in this role.
If you’re someone who brings warmth, humour, and patience, you’ll fit right in.
In this role, you’ll support one individual with complex needs as part of a consistent care team, with regular weekly shifts and rotas planned in advance. While the role is offered on a flexible zero-hours contract, the work is ongoing and typically provides a stable working pattern with the same client.
At Active Care Group we want everyone to feel welcome and supported. We encourage applications from people of all backgrounds and experiences. If you need any reasonable adjustments during the recruitment or interview process, just let us know and we’d be very happy to discuss this with you.
