Job summary

CareTech Community Services in Deal is recruiting a Wake Night Support Worker to assist adults with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs. You’ll deliver person-centred support, support daily living tasks, and help residents access community activities.

The role offers full training, a structured induction, and a supportive team. You may work unsociable hours on a rota, and enhanced DBS is provided by CareTech.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills, basic IT and written abilities.
• Willingness to work towards Level 2 Diploma.
• Ability to work unsociable hours on a rota basis.
• Enhanced DBS required (paid for by CareTech).

About the Service –

Goodwins

Goodwins is situated in a quiet residential area on the outskirts of the historical coastal town of Deal. Staff are committed to providing high quality, person centred care and support for the 8 residents. The service has shown continuous improvement over a number of years, which culminated in receiving an outstanding rating from CQC in November 2018.

Support Workers play a vital role in enabling experiences.

The Role

You will:

• Deliver person-centred support in line with individual support plans
• Assist with daily living skills and personal care where required

Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking people who are caring, patient, and respectful, with a positive and resilient approach. You should be confident working independently and within a team, have good communication skills, basic IT and written abilities, and be flexible and reliable.

No previous experience? No problem! If you have the passion, we’ll provide full training and a structured induction programme.
