CareTech is hiring a Waking Night Support Worker for our service in Ashford. You will deliver person-centred support to adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs, following individual plans and ensuring a safe, respectful environment.
This position is permanent, full-time (37.5 hours per week) with a hourly rate of £13.54 plus £66.80 per sleep-in. Training is provided; DBS is required; rota includes evenings, weekends and sleep-ins.

About the Service – Cedar Bungalows
Cedar Bungalows in Hothfield specialises in adults with learning difficulties, autism and mental health. Currently Cedars Bungalow supports 4 service users, who enjoy its beautiful location and surroundings. Cedars boasts a large garden and each bungalow offers spacious rooms with lots of light. The service users enjoy days out such as horse carriage riding, the local community and they benefit from a fabulous team.
You will be working alone and as part of a team supporting people with various needs, such as Learning Disabilities, Mental Health, and Autistic Spectrum Disorders.
You will have a person-centred approach to supporting people with their day-to-day living in order to provide a caring, safe and effective service that is responsive to the needs of the people we support. This will include providing support with household tasks, meal planning and preparation, maintaining relationships with their family and friends and with accessing the community.

We’re seeking people who are caring, patient, and respectful, with a positive and resilient approach. You should be confident working independently and within a team, have good communication skills, basic IT and written abilities, and be flexible and reliable.
