CareTech is recruiting Wake Night Support Workers to join our Basildon service in Essex, supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs. This is a permanent, full-time, 40 hours per week rota-based role. We offer full training, enhanced DBS paid by CareTech, and opportunities for career progression.
You will work evenings, weekends and sleep-ins, delivering person-centred support and helping residents maintain independence. No prior experience?

Glenroyd is a registered residential care service made up of 8 bedrooms all with en-suites, supporting adults aged 18+ in a safe, structured, and supportive environment.
The ground floor and first floor are accessible by stairs. The rooms in the home for communal use are; large, bright and comfortable. There is a T.V and music lounge with ample seating, a dining area/quiet area, fully fitted kitchen a laundry room and a large garden. There are in addition a communal shower/bathroom on the ground floor and a communal bathroom on the first floor. The home also has an office that is located on the first floor.

We’re seeking people who are caring, patient, and respectful, with a positive and resilient approach. You should be confident working independently and within a team, have good communication skills, basic IT and written abilities, and be flexible and reliable.
No previous experience? No problem! If you have the passion, we’ll provide full training and a structured induction programme.
