Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards one.
• Experience in supporting adults with challenging behaviour, learning disabilities and/or mental health issues.
• Ability to keep calm under pressure and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Participate in day to day implementation of individual support plans and activities.
• Maintain effective communication with service users, families and others while respecting confidentiality.
• Support service users with preparation of meals, laundry, cleaning and social events.
• Maintain accurate notes and records as required.
• Work as part of a team to provide high quality care.
