Job summary

CareTech Community Services is recruiting a Waking Night Support Worker for their Westbrook House service in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire. You will provide person-centred support to adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs, working a rota that includes evenings, weekends and sleep-ins. Full training and induction are provided.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills and written abilities are required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility and reliability to work rota-based shifts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centered support in line with individual plans.
• Assist with daily living skills and personal care when needed.
• Promote independence, dignity and wellbeing.
• Support activities, appointments and community access.
• Maintain accurate records and work as part of a team.
• Work a rota including evenings, weekends, bank holidays and sleep-ins.
