Job summary

CareTech wishes to recruit a Waking Night Support Worker in Wisbech to support adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs. The role involves delivering person-centred support and assisting with daily living skills, including personal care, on a rota that includes nights.

No prior experience is required as full training and a structured induction are provided. We offer up to 28 days holiday, paid DBS check, pension and career progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Be caring, patient and respectful with a positive and resilient approach.
• Good communication skills and reliable, flexible, and able to work as part of a team.
• Willingness to work towards Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred support in line with individual support plans
• Assist with daily living skills
• Our service user requires full support with personal care
• Promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing
• Support activities, appointments, and community access
• Maintain accurate records and work effectively as part of a team
• Work a rota including evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and sleep-ins
