Job summary

CareTech is recruiting Waking Night Support Workers for Selborne Mews in Hadley, Telford, to support adults with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs. This bank, zero-hour role offers flexible hours and the chance to grow within a compassionate, person-centred care environment.

Experience in care is preferred, with opportunities to work towards a Level 2 in Health and Social Care. DBS is required and benefits include pension, training, and recognition schemes.

Qualifications

• Sector related experience in a similar role is essential.
• Willingness to work towards Level 2 in Health and Social Care.
• Enhanced DBS required (paid for by CareTech).

Responsibilities

• Support individuals during the evening and night with personal care.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the service.
• Deliver person-centred support in line with individual support plans.
• Promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing.
• Maintain accurate records and work effectively as part of a team.
• Work a rota including weekends and bank holidays.
