Job summary

Advance Housing & Support Ltd in Gosport is seeking a Waking Night Support Worker Specialist to provide care support for customers with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs. The role is 18 contracted hours per week with sleep-in shifts and requires a full UK driving license to access community locations.

Training and support are provided, with opportunities for progression within the organisation and flexible working patterns to fit life commitments.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience within the care sector.
• Able to follow a Support Plan and Risk Assessments and maintain customer records.
• Able to complete quality support records.
• Literacy and numeracy in English.
• Full UK driving license required.
• Willingness and ability to achieve the Care Certificate.
• Able to work every other weekends.
• Sleep ins are part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care and hygiene (if required).
• Medication administration (if required).
• Support with preparing and cooking meals.
• Support with attending medical appointments.
• Support with social activities.
• Support with independent skills.
• Domestic duties such as cleaning and laundry.
• Keep accurate records and update care plans as required.
• Keep training up to date.
