Job summary

Advance is seeking a Waking Night Support Worker Specialist in Gosport, PO12. You will support people with learning disabilities/autism/complex needs to live the lives they choose, with 18 contracted hours per week including sleep-ins. Salary shown for a part-time role reflects annual pro rata pay.

Applicants must have a full UK driving licence for community access, and showing commitment to care excellence with progression opportunities within Advance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience within the care sector.
• Able to follow a Support Plan and Risk Assessments and maintain records.
• Able to work every other weekends and sleep ins.
• Literate and numerate in English; capable of quality care records.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care and hygiene (if required).
• Medication administration (if required).
• Support with preparing and cooking meals.
• Support with attending medical appointments.
• Support with social activities.
• Support with independent skills.
• Support with domestic duties such as cleaning and laundry.
• Keeping up to date with training and updating care plans.
