Job summary

Agincare Weymouth is seeking a Waking Night Support Worker in Wareham to provide person-centred care for up to 11 residents with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs. You will work 9 PM to 7 AM, promoting independence and safety while maintaining dignity and respect.

We require at least 12 months right to work in the UK and a full UK driving licence. A rewarding role with training, progression and benefits awaits.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, or complex needs.
• Waking night shift availability 9 PM – 7 AM.
• Eligibility to work in the UK (12 months right to work).

Responsibilities

• Encourage independence and active community involvement.
• Support daily living activities including personal care, meals, budgeting and routines.
• Communicate effectively using individuals' preferred methods.
• Engage and motivate people to improve quality of life.
• Use positive behavioural support approaches when needed.
• Keep accurate records and report changes to management.
• Work as part of a team and take initiative.

We support up to 11 people living within this service, promoting independent living.

We are looking for Waking Night Support Worker to join our amazing team, and to continue delivering outstanding outcomes.

What is required from you?
