Job summary

Agincare Bromley is recruiting a Waking Night Support Worker to deliver person-centred care for adults with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs in a residential short-break setting. You’ll provide support during the night, promoting independence and wellbeing in a safe, engaging environment.

The role requires enthusiasm, strong people skills, and a proactive approach. 10pm–7am shifts, full-time, with a competitive hourly rate of £13.00 and opportunities for career development

Qualifications

• A minimum of 12 months on your right to work.
• Shift is 10pm–7am.

Responsibilities

• Encouraging people to participate in the communities where they live and to promote independence.
• Support daily living activities including social activities, personal care, routines, meal planning and budgeting.
• Communicating effectively using the person’s preferred methods.
• Engaging to enhance quality of life for those we support.
• Specialising in positive behavioural support where needed.
• Recording and reporting changes in health or circumstances to management.
• Teamwork: work as part of a team and also on own initiative.

• Recording- keeping accurate records &reporting changes in health or circumstances of service users to management
