Job summary

SeeAbility in Banbury, Oxfordshire is seeking a Waking Night Support Worker to provide overnight care for six individuals in shared homes. You will stay awake, safeguarding their welfare and building respectful, dignified relationships with the people and families involved.

The role requires a driving licence, strong English communication, and the right to work in the UK. It offers guaranteed hours and a supportive team environment, with training and opportunities to progress within SeeAbility.

Qualifications

  • Strong English communication skills (spoken & written).
  • Experience in a care/support setting.
  • Valid manual UK driving licence.
  • Legal right to live and work in the UK.

Responsibilities

  • Safeguarding and promoting welfare of those you support while staying awake.
  • Be vigilant at all times during your shift.
  • Ensure those you assist and their families are treated with respect, dignity and equality.
  • Build therapeutic relationships that make a real difference.
  • Keep accurate support notes; every detail matters.

Waking Night SupportWorker – Make Every Day Matter!

Location: Banbury, Oxfordshire


Salary: £13.69 per hour (£19220.76 per annum) plus benefits.


Hours: 27 hours per week – stability you can count on


Driving Licence: A valid driving license is required (Manual, UK)


Visa Sponsorship is not available: Applicants must already be authorised to work in the United Kingdom; SeeAbility is not able to provide new work authorisation.
