Job summary

SeeAbility in Sittingbourne, Kent is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to help individuals with learning disabilities and epilepsy. You’ll assist with daily routines, plan person-centred activities, and contribute to tailored support plans, building trusting relationships and keeping accurate notes.

You’ll work 37.5 hours per week with guaranteed hours, receive paid training and career development, and join a supportive team.

Qualifications

  • English communication skills (spoken & written) required.
  • Previous experience in a care/support setting.
  • A valid manual UK driving licence.
  • The legal right to live and work in the UK.

CB’s Role – Joyful & Meaningful

Help a young woman with learning disabilities and epilepsy enjoy the things she loves—music, laughter, and good company. You’ll use Makaton and picture cards to communicate, provide personal care, and bring positivity every day.

AH’s Role – Active & Rewarding

Support a lively individual with a packed schedule—farm work, arts & crafts, hydrotherapy, and gardening. Calm, patient communication and a positive attitude are key. Driving confidence is a must!
