Job summary

Believecare is seeking a Waking Night Support Worker on a 42-hour-per-week contract with a rotating schedule of three and four shifts. The role requires weekend and bank holiday availability and may involve sleep-ins and 12-hour shifts.

You will work within a bespoke team supporting a young person in his home, delivering person-centred care with empathy, patience, and flexibility. Training and DBS checks are part of the recruitment process, with safeguarding commitments throughout.

Qualifications

• Experience or ability to work with individuals with learning disabilities and mental health support needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to individuals in daily living activities.
• Support individuals to live their best life and maintain independence.
• Attend to personal care needs as required during waking night shifts.
• Monitor behaviours and provide de-escalation support when needed.
• Document observations and communicate with the team and social workers when appropriate.
