Job summary

Hft is seeking a Waking Night Support Worker to provide safe, person-centred care throughout the night. You’ll help residents feel secure, support routines, and respond calmly to needs, promoting independence and dignity.

Working set nights on Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays from 21:00 to 07:00, you’ll collaborate with day and night teams. A willingness to learn and pursue a Health and Social Care qualification is valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in social care is welcome but not essential.
• Willingness to pursue a Health and Social Care qualification.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, evenings and sleep-in shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, attentive, person-centred night support.
• Respond calmly to needs and help with personal care.
• Carry out night-time routines with kindness and respect.
• Monitor wellbeing and report concerns to daytime team.
• Promote independence and confidence in night routines.
• Collaborate with day and night teams for continuity.
