Job summary

Hightown Housing Association in Hemel Hempstead is seeking a Waking Night Project Worker to provide overnight support to vulnerable adults, ensuring safety, dignity and wellbeing. The role requires compassion, reliability and the ability to work collaboratively to empower residents.

You will work 4 waking night shifts on a two-week rolling rota from 20:15 to 07:45, including weekends and bank holidays; a care certificate or willingness to undertake a qualification is requested, and a full UK

Position: Waking Night Project Worker
Location: Hemel Hempstead
Salary: £28,152 per annum
Hours: Full-time (40.25 hours per week)

The Role
  • Support vulnerable adults overnight, ensuring safety and wellbeing
  • Provide personal care when required, always upholding dignity
  • Offer emotional support and respond to any crises
  • Administer medication and complete light household tasks
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure the property remains secure
  • Communicate clearly and adapt to individual needs
Working Pattern:

4 waking night shifts across a two-week rolling rota, working 20:15 to 07:45. The rota includes weekends, bank holidays, and sleep-in cover where required.

About You

You are caring, reliable and motivated, with a compassionate approach, treating others with respect, working collaboratively and empowering people to live fulfilling lives.

Holds a care certificate or willingness to undertake a care qualification

A full UK driving licence and access to a car is essential.
