Job summary

Active Assistance in Flint, part of Active Care Group, seeks a caring professional to support a 4-year-old boy with complex health needs during waking nights. You will join a dedicated care team and work shifts in his family home, with initial hospital rotations in Rhyl.

The role offers 9-hour waking nights, flexible hours, and opportunities for ongoing training through the Active Learning Hub, with pension and rewards programs.

About the role:

This role is to support our brand new client, a 4 year old little boy with complex health needs in his family home when he returns from hospital (initially you will need to do shifts in Rhyl hospital). Our client has an acquired brain injury, epilepsy and PEG feed. We require candidates that have previous experience with managing epilepsy and with working with children. We are also looking for candidates that are confident, energetic and show initiative.

When you will be working:

• Waking Nights (9 hrs long)
• Part time or Full time available

In this role you'll support one individual with complex needs as part of a consistent care team, with regular weekly shifts and rotas planned in advance. While the role is offered on a flexible zero hours contract, the work is ongoing and typically provides a stable working pattern with the same client.
