Job summary

Active Care Group is seeking a dedicated waking nights support worker in Chelmsford to care for a 10-year-old boy with epilepsy, autism, ADHD and global developmental delay at his family home. You will join a focused team, providing overnight care and building a trusted relationship with the family.

The role offers 7pm–7am shifts, typically three nights per week, on a zero-hours contract. Training, ongoing support, and access to development resources are provided.

Responsibilities

• Care for a 10-year-old boy with epilepsy, autism, ADHD and global developmental delay in his family home overnight.
• Support one individual with complex needs and contribute to a consistent, trusted care team.
• Work 7pm–7am shifts on a regular weekly basis under supervision of a Care Manager.

About the role:

This role is to care for a 10 year old little boy who has epilepsy, autism, ADHD and global developmental delay. You will be supporting him in his family home overnight. In this role, you'll support one individual with complex needs, working regular weekly shifts to build a consistent, trusted care team. While hours are usually stable, the position is offered on a zero-hours contract.

When you will be working:

Waking nights (7pm-7am) 3 nights a week available.
