Job summary

Wiltshire Council is seeking a Waking Night's Care Support Officer for Canon's House in Wiltshire. You will provide waking night support to children and young people (5-17) with complex learning disabilities and health and care needs, on a ten-hour night shift, with shifts arranged.

Qualifications

• Experience of caring for children and young people is essential
• A NCFE qualification in Health and Social Care (level 3) is desirable
• Strong understanding of confidentiality, trust, child-centred care and safeguarding

Responsibilities

• Provide waking night support for children and young people
• Work a ten-hour night shift (hours to be determined)
• Be flexible for planned annual leave and short-notice sick cover
