Job summary

Active Assistance is seeking a dedicated care worker to support a 4-year-old boy with complex health needs at his family home. You will cover waking night shifts, including initial shifts in Rhyl hospital, providing hands-on care and following tailored care plans.

We offer flexible zero-hours contracts, up to £14 per hour, with 14.07% holiday pay, advanced rotas, specialist training, Nest pension and ongoing support from a Care Manager.

Qualifications

• Experience in caring for children with complex health needs.
• Willingness to work waking nights and follow care plans.
• Reliable, energetic and able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Support one client with complex needs overnight in the family home.
• Follow individual care plans and medical instructions.
• Collaborate with the Care Manager and the care team to ensure consistency.
• Be prepared to cover shifts in Rhyl hospital if required.
