Job summary

Active Assistance in the family home in Whitchurch is seeking a caring worker to provide sleeping night care for a young client with complex needs. You will support with personal care, moving and handling, and PEG feeding during overnight shifts.

Full specialist clinical training, shadow shifts, and ongoing support are provided. The role operates on a flexible zero-hours contract with regular weekly rotas, holiday pay, and a nest pension.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with complex health needs.
• Willing to undergo specialist clinical training.
• DBS check required/paid by employer.

Responsibilities

• Provide overnight support for one child in the family home.
• Assist with personal care, mobility and PEG feeding as directed.
• Administer medication as instructed and monitor health.
• Work as part of a consistent care team with a planned rota.
