Job summary

Active Care Group in Preston is seeking a Children's Support Worker to care for a 14-year-old boy with complex health needs in his family home overnight. The role is part-time with waking nights from 9pm to 7am, on a zero-hours contract.

You will provide compassionate support for cerebral palsy, non-verbal communication, PEG feeding, seizures and respiratory issues. Full specialist training and shadow shifts are provided, with ongoing support from the care management team.

Qualifications

• Support a 14-year-old boy with complex health needs in his home.
• Full specialist training and shadow shifts are provided.
• Open to applicants who can commit to wake-night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Care for a 14-year-old boy with cerebral palsy, non-verbal, PEG feeding, seizures and respiratory issues.
• Provide overnight care during waking nights (9pm–7am) and participate in a consistent care routine.
• Receive ongoing support from the Children's Care Manager and the wider leadership team.
