Job summary

Care in Mind is seeking a Waking Night Healthcare Support Worker in Leeds. The role requires night shifts (8:30pm–7:30am), weekend work, and driving a service car with a manual licence. Salary ranges from £28,808.78 to £29,709.68 per year, pro rata for part-time hours.

Training will be provided, and applicants must have right to work in the UK. You will support young people with mental health needs, record keeping, incident support and care planning while maintaining professional boundaries and

Qualifications

• Flexibility to work night shifts including weekends and bank holidays.
• Full UK Driving Licence - Manual only.
• Willingness to attend training on weekdays.
• Good written communication and ability to write basic reports.

Responsibilities

• Update online care records, complete medication administration and provide effective handovers to day staff.
• Support young people’s wellbeing, education, household tasks and life skills during night shifts.
• Manage incidents and de-escalate challenging behaviours; ensure a safe home environment.
