Job summary

A care assistant role at Allscreens Nationwide Ltd offers flexible night shifts at a 60-bed residential home caring for elderly residents with Dementia and Alzheimer’s. You pick the nights, weekends, and hours to fit your life while contributing to the residents’ daily routines and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Care Assistant, ideally with Dementia care exposure.
• DBS check dated within the last 12 months or assistance to obtain one.
• Up-to-date mandatory training completed.
• Referenceable work history in care settings.

We’re looking for compassionate, experienced Care Assistants to join a team at a well-regarded 60-bed residential home. The home specializes in supporting elderly residents living with age-related illnesses such as Dementia and Alzheimer’s, focusing closely on their mental and physical well-being.

What you’ll be doing:

• Supporting residents with their daily routines, including personal hygiene, mobility, and nutrition.
• Spending quality time with residents to support their mental and physical well-being.
• Helping with light housekeeping tasks and following health and safety guidelines.
• Keeping accurate records, reporting condition updates, and logging any incidents to senior staff.

What we need from you:

• Previous experience working as a Care Assistant (experience with Dementia care is a big plus).
• A dedicated, reliable nature and a genuine pride in making a difference to the lives of others.
• An enhanced DBS check (or we can help you get one sorted quickly).

To be suitable for this position you must have:

• An Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months
• Up to date mandatory training
• A Referenceable work history
• At least 3 months experience within a similar setting

Choose the number of nights you would like to work on a weekly basis! Shifts are available Monday to Sunday with hours being 22:00 to 07:00

Rate of pay for this role is £13.50 per hour
