Job summary

Quality Service Recruitment Limited is seeking dedicated Care Assistants for a purpose-built care home in the United Kingdom. You will help residents with daily living, provide companionship, and ensure dignity and comfort, delivering personal care with empathy and professionalism.

The role requires experience in residential or elderly care, an Enhanced DBS, mandatory safeguarding and moving/handling training, and up-to-date references.

Qualifications

• Mandatory training in Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Infection Control, Moving and Handling.
• 2 years of referenceable work experience.

This lovely purpose-built care home is looking for individuals with a passion for caring for the Elderly. As experienced Care Assistants, you will be helping the residents enjoy each day by making sure they get the quality care and support they deserve. You’ll assist with daily living, providing support and companionship. It’s a chance to bring your dedication and compassion to their residents, in an empathetic and caring manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivering personal care, ensuring their comfort and hygiene needs are met, ensuring the dignity of all residents.
• Follow individualised care plans precisely to meet the unique physical and emotional needs of each resident.
• Complete daily paperwork, logs, and reports accurately to maintain seamless continuity of care.
• Work effectively and professionally alongside the existing care team.

What We Are Looking For

• Previous experience in a residential or elderly care setting is essential.
• An empathetic, patient, and highly motivated attitude towards care.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy.
• Excellent organizational skills for managing essential paperwork.

For this role, it is essential that you have;

• At least months experience in a Care environment.
• An Enhanced DBS dated within the last 6 months, registered on the update service is an advantage. If you don’t, don’t worry we can help if you have the facility to pay for one upfront at the cost of £49.50.
• All relevant mandatory training in Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Infection Control, Moving and Handling and ideally certificates to show for this or we can assist you to gain access to online training platforms at the cost of £2.50 per unit.
• 2 years referenceable work experience

This is an ongoing role that can become permanent for successful candidates.

Shift Times

Days 0700 to 1430.

Other shifts are available on request, especially weekends and bank holidays.

The hourly rate starts at £12.71 rising to £13.33 once you have completed 13 weeks. You also accrue up to 28 days holiday per year for time served.
