Job summary

Quality Service Recruitment Limited is actively seeking experienced Care Assistants to join our established team and provide caring support to the elderly in a recently renovated home. You will assist with activities of daily living and support residents with Parkinson’s and dementia care needs, with at least three months’ prior experience.

DBS within 6 months is required (or DBS can be arranged at cost). Training in Moving and Handling, Infection Control and Safeguarding is expected, with

Responsibilities

• Perform general housekeeping duties including laundry and cleaning of client rooms.
• Observe clients’ conditions and report using the company’s systems; ensure health and safety standards.

Are you looking for some extra money for those luxuries in life?

We are urgently seeking experienced Care Assistants to integrate into an established team of workers, providing care to The Elderly . This recently renovated care home is looking for enthusiastic Care Workers that enjoy supporting elderly people with Parkinson’s Disease and Dementia Care Needs and other illnesses associated with Old Age. Dementia care experience would be advantageous but not essential but you will need at least three months experience in a care role.

Daily tasks will include:

Attend to client’s activities of daily living ensuring that they are always well hydrated and comfortable.

General Housekeeping duties such as laundry and cleaning client’s rooms.

Observations of client’s conditions and reporting accordingly using the company’s reporting systems

You must always comply with health and safety in a professional manner.

For this role, you must have;

- A least 3 months experience in this kind of Care environment

- A DBS dated within the last 6 months, registered on the update service, if not we can perform a DBS on your behalf at a cost of £49.50

- Up to Date relevant mandatory training in Moving and Handling, Infection Control and Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults and ideally the certificates to show for this or we can assist you to access online training platforms.

- Referenceable work history covering the past 2 years

- The willingness to make a difference to an individual’s life.

This is an ongoing role for the successful candidates that has the potential to turn into a permanent role for successful candidates.

Shift times are:-

Night Shifts - 2100 to 0700

There are other shifts available on request.

Rates of pay are £13.15 per hour, and you will also accrue up to 28 days paid holiday per year for time served.
