Duck & Rice at Battersea Power Station is recruiting a Waiter/Waitress to deliver exceptional hospitality and ensure every guest has a memorable experience from arrival to departure.

You will welcome guests, take orders, know the menu and daily specials, keep tables clean, coordinate with kitchen and FOH, handle payments, and support the team during busy service; benefits include free staff meals, training, a 50% discount, and uniform.

Location: Battersea Power Station

Full-time Contract | 35–48 Hours per week

The Role

As a Waiter/Waitress, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional hospitality and ensuring every guest has a memorable experience from the moment they arrive. You'll work closely with the wider Front of House team to provide friendly, attentive, and efficient service in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

You will:

• Welcome guests warmly and provide friendly, attentive service throughout their visit.


• Take accurate food and beverage orders, making recommendations where appropriate.


• Have complete knowledge of the menu, ingredients, and daily specials.


• Ensure tables are well presented, clean, and maintained to a high standard throughout service.


• Check in with guests regularly to ensure they are happy and well looked after.


• Communicate effectively with the kitchen, bar, hosts, and wider FOH team to ensure smooth service.


• Respond to guest questions, requests, and feedback with a positive and professional attitude.


• Handle payments accurately and efficiently.


• Assist with setting up and closing down the restaurant as required.


• Support the wider FOH team during busy service periods.


• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and presentation at all times.


• Help create a warm, energetic, and welcoming atmosphere for every guest.
