Job summary

San Carlo Restaurant Group is hiring a Waiter/Waitress to join our London-area restaurants. You will greet guests, present menus, take orders, and ensure a smooth dining experience from arrival to payment. You will work with kitchen and bar teams to deliver meals and beverages promptly, keeping tables prepared for the next guests.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail, highly organised and capable of handling multiple tasks.
• A proactive self-starter who can work independently with good judgement and minimal direction.

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests as they arrive at the restaurant and escorting them to their table.
• Presenting menus to guests and taking orders for food and drinks.
• Making recommendations to guests regarding food and beverage selections.
• Serving food and beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner.
• Checking on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any issues.
• Processing payment for meals and handling cash and credit card transactions.
• Assisting with the setup and clean-up of the restaurant before and after service.
• Cleaning and resetting tables for the next guests.
• Collaborating with kitchen and bar staff to ensure that food and beverages are delivered accurately and on time.
