Job summary

Isolaare in the United Kingdom is seeking a Chef de Partie to join the busy kitchen team. You will prepare and cook in your designated section (grill, pasta, meat & fish, or pastry), ensuring recipes and quality standards are followed to uphold exceptional service.

You will supervise junior staff, maintain a clean, well-organised station, and collaborate with management to deliver meals promptly while adhering to safety and allergen policies.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail, highly organised and capable of handling multiple tasks.
• A proactive self-starter who can work independently with good judgement and minimal direction.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking food in their assigned section of the kitchen, such as grill, pasta, meat & fish, or pastry
• Ensuring that all food preparation and cooking is done in accordance with established recipes and quality standards
• Managing their section of the kitchen, including overseeing the work of any commis chefs or kitchen assistants
• Ensuring that their section of the kitchen is clean and organised, and that all equipment is properly maintained
• Collaborating with other kitchen staff and restaurant management to ensure that food is prepared and served in a timely manner
• Adhering to company food safety and allergens policy
• Maintaining accurate records of food inventory, preparation, and waste for their section of the kitchen
• Treat everyone with respect and remain calm at all times
