Job summary

Audley Villages is seeking a friendly Waiter/Waitress for part-time and bank contracts at our restaurant within the Audley Retirement village. You will welcome guests, take orders, and ensure a seamless dining experience across dining rooms and events.

The role offers training and development within a luxury hospitality setting, opportunities to engage with Owners and external customers, and staff benefits including generous holidays and discounts.

• Previous experience in hospitality and handling cash (preferably).

Responsibilities

• Ensure guests receive the highest quality of service and experience.
• Take reservations, seat guests, advise on the menu, serve afternoon tea.
• Promote the village and our luxury spa.
• Assist with service of guest suites and respond to owners’ inquiries.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with event set-ups and maintaining cleanliness.

The Role

The Restaurant is set within our Audley Retirement village, the village has its own health club, library, fine dining restaurant, bar and luxury suites. Audley villages comprises of owners, who permanently reside on site within their own private homes but also hosts external customers. From the simple to the finest cuisine, beautiful settings in heritage buildings and, of course, the very best people. As our Waiter / Waitress you’ll ensure that Audley Owners and External Customers have the highest quality of service and experience. Thanks to you, owners and the guests who come to enjoy the exceptional food and surroundings at our restaurant and bistro will get a warm welcome and a smooth, seamless service. Whether you’re taking reservations, seating guests, advising on the menu, serving afternoon tea, promoting the village and our luxury spa, or sharing a joke with regulars, you’ll deliver an exceptional service. You’ll also help service our guest suites, answer owners’ enquiries, keep an eye on stock levels, help set up for special events, and keep everywhere looking scrupulously clean.
