Job summary

Audley Villages invites applications for a Waiter/Waitress within its luxury retirement village dining venues. You will ensure the highest quality of service for Audley Owners and external guests in our restaurant and bistro, delivering warm welcomes and a smooth, seamless service.

You may take reservations, seat guests, advise on menu choices, serve afternoon tea, promote our village and spa, and assist with guest suites and events.

Responsibilities

• Take reservations and seat guests.
• Advise on the menu and serve afternoon tea.
• Promote the village and our luxury spa to guests.
• Provide warm, seamless service to Audley Owners and external customers.
• Assist with guest suites, respond to owners’ inquiries.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with setting up for events.
• Keep areas scrupulously clean and well presented.

As our Waiter / Waitress you’ll ensure that Audley Owners and External Customers have the highest quality of service and experience. Thanks to you, owners and the guests who come to enjoy the exceptional food and surroundings at our restaurant and bistro will get a warm welcome and a smooth, seamless service.
Whether you’re taking reservations, seating guests, advising on the menu, serving afternoon tea, promoting the village and our luxury spa, or sharing a joke with regulars, you’ll deliver an exceptional service. You’ll also help service our guest suites, answer owners’ enquiries, keep an eye on stock levels, help set up for special events, and keep everywhere looking scrupulously clean.

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience in hospitality and handling cash (preferably).
• Taking pride in everything you do is an essential quality for this role.
• A ‘can do’ attitude and an organised approach that ensures things get done.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Self-motivated and driven by standards and sales opportunities.
• Eager to learn and develop.
• Hands on and flexible approach to daily duties and shift patterns.
• Warm, professional and empathetic, as well as smartly turned out.
