Job summary

Audley Villages is seeking a warm and professional Receptionist for a part-time role of 18 hours per week across three days, including weekdays and weekends. Based in the United Kingdom, you will welcome residents and guests, manage reservations, answer enquiries, and support on-site events with a friendly, efficient service.

You will work closely with care teams and village staff to maintain a high standard of hospitality, show flexibility with shifts, and help create a welcoming atmosphere

Qualifications

• Experience in taking reservations and handle business enquiries in a courteous and friendly manner.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to manage and help resolve complaints or issues.
• Ability to delegate duties to junior colleagues and develop them.
• Knowledge of village events and advising on planned activities.
• Good knowledge of local area and offsite facilities.

Job description

This is a part-time, 18-hour-per-week contract covering 3 days, including weekdays and weekends. We develop and run villages with the wow factor that enhance the lives of our owners, their family and their friends. Through our three brands, Audley Villages, Elysian Residences and Mayfield Villages, we offer stylish apartments and houses complete with the best facilities from bistros and bars, to health clubs and swimming pools. And, of course, exceptional service throughout. What's more, through our dedicated care teams we provide owners as well as customers out in the local community with the support they need to remain independent. It's retirement, but not as the UK has known it. As our Receptionist you will be responsible of ensuring the highest quality of service is provided to all Audley customers. This role is highly customer centered and involves regular and diverse communication with both colleagues and owners. The focus is on providing a warm and friendly service and setting a great example for our warm, empathetic and efficient team. You'll also have the opportunity to be involved in the creation and running of regular hospitality events at the village.
