Job summary

Maki Nori is seeking an experienced Waiter/Waitress to help lead the Front of House team. You will be hands-on during service, supporting the team and upholding our upscale hospitality standards to ensure every guest enjoys a warm, polished experience.

You should be a natural leader with strong restaurant experience and a passion for great hospitality. Joining the team means delicious team meals, a supportive environment and opportunities to grow within a premium Japanese dining concept.

Qualifications

• Previous Waiter or FOH experience in a quality-led restaurant.
• Excellent food, beverage and customer service knowledge.
• Confident communicating menu knowledge and upselling dishes.
• Polished, organised and calm under pressure.
• Genuine interest in Japanese cuisine and premium hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Support the FOH team during service, maintaining Maki Nori’s refined service standards
• Build strong knowledge of the menu, premium ingredients and drinks to confidently guide guests
• Learn menu knowledge, recommendations and natural upselling
• Support the bar team when necessary.
• Handle guest feedback professionally and maintain a high standard of customer service
• Support management with fine customer service
• Attend trainings and be punctual

Pay Rate: £12.71 - £13.50 (typical earnings up to £16 p/h with tips)

Hours/Schedule: 40 per week (hours are negotiable)
