Job summary

Maki & Ramen in Birmingham is opening a new Front of House site and seeks an experienced, adaptable team member to lead the guest experience from day one. You will greet guests, manage reservations, take orders, and ensure prompt service while maintaining a clean, welcoming dining area.

Hours are negotiable (30–40 per week) with full-time or part-time options, including nights and weekends. Pay ranges from £11.00 to £12.71 per hour, with typical earnings up to £14 per hour with tips, start ASAP.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or front-of-house roles is preferred.
• Strong communication and guest service skills are required.
• Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure in a busy dining environment.
• Basic math skills and familiarity with POS systems are necessary.
• Attention to cleanliness and presentation is essential.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests warmly and professionally.
• Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently.
• Take orders accurately and relay to kitchen/bar.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and attentively.
