Hyatt Regency London – The Churchill in Marylebone invites applications for a Waiter/ess at Churchill Bar. Deliver attentive, personalised service to guests in a 5-star setting, with deep knowledge of food, beverage, and cigars, and upsell across drinks and menu items.

You will maintain standards, assist with stock, support cigar recommendations, and contribute to memorable guest experiences while representing a renowned luxury hotel. Previous luxury bar or hotel experience preferred.

Duties and responsibilities related to the Waiter/ess – Churchill Bar role

• Deliver attentive, personalised service to guests, ensuring an exceptional bar and dining experience in line with 5-star standards.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of all food, beverage, and cigar offerings to confidently advise and enhance guest choices.
• Anticipate guest needs, handle requests promptly, and resolve any concerns in a professional and efficient manner.
• Drive revenue through effective upselling and suggestive selling techniques across food, drink, and cigar menus.
• Support stock management by monitoring supplies, reducing waste, and maintaining well-presented service areas.
• Provide expert guidance on cigar selection and pairings, supporting guests with recommendations and service.
• Ensure the cigar humidor and service areas are maintained to the highest standards, including monitoring temperature and humidity.

About You

We are looking for a passionate and service-focused individual with previous experience in a similar role, ideally within a luxury bar, restaurant, or hotel environment. The ideal candidate will have strong product knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a genuine enthusiasm for delivering memorable guest experiences. Experience with premium beverages and cigars is highly desirable, along with the ability to upsell confidently, work efficiently under pressure, and maintain exceptional standards of presentation and service.
