Job summary

Edwardian Hotels London is recruiting a Waiter/Waitress for The May Fair Bar, a 5 Star venue inside the iconic May Fair Hotel. You will understand and explain the menu, check allergens, and deliver attentive service to guests.

You will work with Head Waiters and Floor Managers to ensure seamless guest experiences, take payments, and use systems like OpenTable, Adecco and Micros while maintaining exceptional hospitality standards.

Qualifications

• Previous front of house waiting experience in a high-end operation.
• Excellent attention to detail and customer service skills.
• Impeccable command of English (written and spoken).
• Passion for food and beverage and hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Explain the menu and check for allergens to guests.
• Read table needs and serve according to preferences.
• Work closely with Head Waiters and Floor Managers for seamless service.
• Check guest satisfaction and handle feedback or complaints accordingly.
• Take payments in accordance with company procedures.
• Competent with IT systems such as OpenTable, Adecco and Micros.

We are currently recruiting for a Waiter/ Waitress for our 5 Star The May Fair Hotel and its iconic May Fair Bar.

Overview

• An amazing opportunity to join the team at The May Fair Bar, our iconic 5 Star May Fair Hotel as a Waiter/ Waitress.
• You will fully understand the menu and be able to explain all food and drink items to guests, carefully checking for any allergens.
• You will read the needs of tables and serve them as to their preferences.
• You will work closely with the Head Waiters and Floor Managers to ensure that service is seamless and an exceptional level of service is provided to guests.
• You will ensure that satisfaction levels are checked at all tables you are serving and will handle any feedback or complaints accordingly.
• You will take payment in accordance with company procedures.
• As a Waiter/Waitress you will be competent with-It applications such as Open table, Adecco and Micros.

About You

Previous front of house waiting experience of working in a high-end food led operation is essential.
