Job summary

Edwardian Hotels London is recruiting a Waiter/Waitress for The May Fair Kitchen, a 5-star setting where guests expect flawless service and detailed menu knowledge. You will explain dining concepts, check allergens, and tailor service to guests’ preferences while working with Head Waiters and Floor Managers to maintain seamless operation.

Proactive handling of feedback and accurate payments complete the role.

Qualifications

• Previous front of house waiting experience in a high-end food-led operation.
• Excellent attention to detail and customer service.
• Impeccable command of English, both written and spoken.
• A passion for food and beverage and hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Fully understand the menu and explain the dining concept to guests, checking allergens.
• Read the needs of tables and serve them according to their preferences.
• Work closely with Head Waiters and Floor Managers to ensure seamless service.
• Ensure satisfaction levels are checked at all tables and handle feedback or complaints.
• Take payment in accordance with company procedures.
• Competent with IT applications such as OpenTable, Adecco and Micros.

We are currently recruiting for a Waiter/ Waitress for our 5 Star Hotel, The May Fair.

Overview

• An amazing opportunity to join the team at The May Fair Kitchen, our iconic 5 Star May Fair Hotel as a Waiter/ Waitress.
• You will fully understand the menu and be able to explain the dining concept to all guests, carefully checking for any allergens.
• You will read the needs of tables and serve them as to their preferences.
• You will work closely with the Head Waiters and Floor Managers to ensure that service is seamless and an exceptional level of service is provided to guests.
• You will ensure that satisfaction levels are checked at all tables you are serving and will handle any feedback or complaints accordingly.
• You will take payment in accordance with company procedures.
• As a Waiter/Waitress you will be competent with-It applications such as Open table, Adecco and Micros.

About You
