Job summary

Archer, in collaboration with BNY, seeks a Vice President, Regulatory & Technical Support to join the UK Trustee & Depositary Services team in Edinburgh. You will oversee regulatory guidance, reporting and governance interactions to ensure compliance across OEICs, AUTs, ACS, UCITS, NURS, QIS and LTAF.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of the collective investment funds industry and the regulations governing OEICs AUTs ACS UCITS NURS QIS LTAF.
• Familiarity with FCA authorisations process and regulatory reporting cycles.
• Strong risk awareness with a solid control framework understanding.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across all organisational levels.

Responsibilities

• Review documentation from a depositary and fiduciary perspective for compliance and investor protection.
• Provide high quality regulatory interpretation to fund managers, depositary teams and the wider organisation.
• Collate and submit regular regulatory reporting.
• Lead analysis of regulatory change and support implementation and client discussions.
• Lead or support regulatory update sessions with clients and governance boards.
• Support Client Management Team in day-to-day interactions and reporting input.
• Represent the regulatory team in governance forums and industry bodies.
• Perform testing reviews, assess remediation controls and drive issue closure.
• Lead trend analysis on issues and develop action plans.
