Job summary

Archer, collaborating with BNY, seeks a Vice President, Data Center Operations Manager to lead the Infrastructure Platform team in Harlow, Essex. You will oversee 24x7 data center operations across EMEA, directing incident response, change governance, and partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver large-scale infrastructure programs.

You will manage staffing, vendor access, and capacity planning while driving a strong risk and control culture in a regulated enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in large-scale data center operations.
• Significant experience leading 24x7 mission-critical data center environments.
• Experience with incident governance, change management, and regulatory risk in enterprise infra.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of data center operations across EMEA.
• Lead incident response, change execution, and escalation across teams.
• Oversee vendor access, onsite activities, and service delivery.
• Drive infrastructure initiatives including hardware deployments and capacity planning.
• Maintain governance through risk management and documentation discipline.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver complex infrastructure activities.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and workload prioritization.
• Leverage monitoring and automation to improve efficiency and accountability.
• Promote risk and control culture aligned with enterprise standards.
• Support continuity of service across EMEA sites.
