Tide is hiring a VP of Engineering to lead the Ongoing Monitoring engineering organisation. You will report directly to the Chief Data and Technology Officer.

Ongoing Monitoring protects our members by detecting fraud, financial crime and regulatory risk across every transaction Tide processes. The engineering, data science and platform capability behind it is one of the most technically demanding estates at Tide.

Qualifications

• Experience leading engineering organisations in fraud, financial crime, risk or real-time decisioning.
• Track record turning platform investment into measurable outcomes in fraud detection and automation.
• Experience taking machine learning from development into production at scale.

Responsibilities

• Set the engineering strategy for Tide's fraud, financial crime and monitoring platforms.
• Lead engineering across backend, frontend, data science, ML engineering and analytics in Hyderabad and London.
• Own the model lifecycle end-to-end from development to production monitoring.
• Scale agentic AI in regulated workflows with governance framework.
• Deliver measurable risk and efficiency outcomes and reduce monitoring cost per member.
