Tide is hiring a VP of Engineering to lead the Ongoing Monitoring engineering organization, reporting to the Chief Data and Technology Officer. You will own real-time fraud, financial crime and regulatory risk monitoring across multiple markets and ensure production-grade ML models and AI capabilities run safely at scale.

Qualifications

• Experience leading engineering organisations in fraud, financial crime, risk or real-time decisions.
• Proven track record turning platform investment into measurable outcomes for fraud detection and mitigation.
• Experience taking machine learning from development to production at scale.
• Experience operating in regulated environments with second line risk and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Set the engineering strategy for Tide's fraud, financial crime and ongoing monitoring platforms.
• Lead engineering across backend, frontend, data science, ML engineering and analytics in Hyderabad and London.
• Build and mentor leadership across the team.
• Collaborate with risk, operations, business, design, product and engineering.
• Own the Decision Engine and Decision Intelligence Platform across markets.
• Oversee the model lifecycle from development to production monitoring.
• Scale agentic AI within regulated workflows and governance.
• Deliver measurable risk and efficiency outcomes and lower costs per member.
• Align cross-functional teams behind a single roadmap and operating model.
