Job summary

Tide is seeking a Senior Product Security Engineer to join our Security Engineering team in London. You will protect Tide's products by applying AppSec, threat modelling and secure design principles across mobile and web applications, while guiding developers to build secure software.

You will mentor engineers, drive secure development within CI/CD, and contribute to a culture of resilient software. Flexible hybrid/remote work is supported in a fast‑growing fintech environment.

Qualifications

• Breadth and depth across application security (AppSec).
• Ability to perform threat modelling and guide secure design.
• Strong communication to articulate vulnerabilities to product and execs.

Responsibilities

• Dive into mobile and web app tech to hunt vulnerabilities.
• Secure cloud-native apps with best practices across cloud envs.
• Lead threat modelling and guide secure design decisions.
• Remediate vulnerabilities through patches and vulnerability tickets.
• Be SME across security areas, especially AppSec.
• Make security enable development, not block it.
• Mentor junior engineers to raise security standards.
• Leverage automation to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines.
