La Fosse is recruiting a VP Engineering for a global assurance leader to drive AI-native development at scale. You will lead a Software Engineering and Architecture function of ~30 people, shifting from AI-assisted to agentic engineering across the full lifecycle.

You’ll operate with executive visibility, reporting to the CDO/CDIO, in a fully remote UK role. You will guide technical direction, oversee acquisitions, and help build scalable AI foundations for the business.

Qualifications

• Embedded AI across a team’s lifecycle in live delivery.
• Led 30+ engineers across multiple teams.
• Experience with scale-up, acquisitions or transformations.

Responsabilités

• Embed AI across the full software lifecycle so it becomes how teams work, not an add-on.
• Build foundations for AI at scale: standards, golden paths, documentation-as-code and reusable scaffolding.
• Reshape team designs around AI changes.
• Drive automation across build, test and release, and improve DORA metrics and cycle time.
• Set architectural direction and lead technical due diligence & integration on acquisitions.
• Modernise the engineering function and pivot toward product development with modern practices.
