Salt is seeking a VP of Engineering to lead a globally deployed security platform protecting critical communications and digital collaboration environments. This role blends hands-on architecture and leadership to scale a high-performing international team across SaaS and customer-hosted deployments.

You will own engineering strategy, architecture, delivery, quality, and team performance while advancing AI-native development and modern DevOps practices.

As they continue to invest heavily in AI-first product development, they are seeking a VP of Engineering to lead a strategically important security platform used to protect business-critical communications and digital collaboration environments.

This is not a traditional management role.

We're looking for a technical leader who still enjoys getting hands-on with architecture, code reviews, engineering quality, and solving complex technical challenges while leading and scaling a high-performing international team.

The Opportunity

You will take ownership of engineering strategy, architecture, delivery, quality, and team performance for a globally deployed security product serving highly regulated customers.

Working closely with Product leadership, you'll translate product vision into engineering execution, driving delivery across both SaaS and customer-hosted environments.

• Deep understanding of modern software architecture and engineering best practice
• Demonstrable experience using AI throughout the software development lifecycle
• Passion for raising engineering standards, quality, and delivery predictability
• Experience leading globally distributed teams
