Job summary

Holden Group, Volvo dealership, is seeking a proactive Parts Advisor to join our busy team. You’ll ensure the right parts are available for workshop and retail customers, working closely with technicians, service and sales teams.

You will identify genuine Volvo parts, check pricing and delivery times, maintain stock and process invoices, while delivering excellent face-to-face and phone customer service. A strong team player with attention to detail is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a motor trade Parts Department, ideally with dealership experience.
• Organised, reliable and able to work well under pressure.
• Confident communicating with customers, technicians and suppliers.
• Comfortable using computerised parts and stock systems (Pinnacle).
• Commercially aware and able to identify opportunities to maximise parts sales.
• Strong team player with a positive attitude.
• Able to work accurately and pay close attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Supplying parts to our workshop and retail customers
• Identifying and ordering genuine Volvo parts
• Checking availability, pricing and delivery times
• Maintaining accurate stock levels and carrying out stock checks
• Receiving, checking and correctly storing incoming parts
• Processing parts invoices and maintaining accurate records
• Working closely with the Service and Sales departments
• Liaising with suppliers and manufacturers
• Providing excellent customer service both face-to-face and over the phone
• Ensuring the Parts Department is organised, efficient and compliant with company procedures
